Deliveroxx

One flat fee per delivery. No percentage of the sale.

Your customers order from you. We pick up at your counter, batch the order with nearby stops, and deliver it the same day under your store's name. You pay the same whether the order is worth $60 or $600.

$12.95 per delivery stop, Monday to Saturday

Sundays are $13.95 per stop. Same four blocks, same 9:00 PM promise.

One stop is one delivery address. No setup fee, no monthly fee, no percentage. Sunday stops are $13.95; add-ons cost the same every day.

What a percentage really costs

Marketplace apps typically charge stores 15% to 30% of each order. That fee grows with the ticket, so it is highest on your best orders.

Order value At 15% At 30% Deliveroxx
$40 $6.00 $12.00 $12.95
$75 $11.25 $22.50 $12.95
$120 $18.00 $36.00 $12.95
$250 $37.50 $75.00 $12.95
$400 $60.00 $120.00 $12.95

Notice the first row. On a $40 order a percentage can be cheaper than we are. More on that below.

How delivery windows work

We don't send a courier for each order. We run a scheduled route through your area four times a day, every day. Orders that are ready at the start of a block go out together. Batching is what keeps the fee flat, and it is why your customers get a delivery window they can plan around instead of a guess.

Block We pick up at your store We deliver
Morning9:00 to 9:30 AMby 12:00 PM
Midday12:00 to 12:30 PMby 3:00 PM
Afternoon3:00 to 3:30 PMby 6:00 PM
Evening6:00 to 6:30 PMby 9:00 PM

Every order you give us by your cutoff is delivered the same day, by 9:00 PM. We set the cutoff time with each store.

What you charge your customers is up to you

You set your own delivery charge and you keep taking payment the way you do now. Most stores charge the customer $9.95 for delivery and cover the remaining $3.00 themselves. Some build delivery into the price of large orders and offer it free. We never touch your customers' cards.

Where this isn't the best fit

Small orders. If most of your deliveries are under about $45, a percentage fee will usually cost you less than our flat fee, and we will tell you so. Between about $45 and $85 it depends on the rate the app charges you. Above that, the flat fee wins and keeps winning as the order grows.

Speed. We deliver in three-hour blocks, not in thirty minutes. That suits orders people plan. It doesn't suit a hot meal someone wants right now.

If we're late

If a delivery misses its block because of us, we pay $5.00 for that stop. Claim it by phone, in writing, or in the app. There is no form to fill in. The credit doesn't apply when severe weather causes the delay.

Questions

Is there a contract or a minimum?

We start with a one-week trial at the standard rate. After that the service terms are one page, and you can read them before you talk to us.

Do my customers order from Deliveroxx?

No. They order from you, by phone or however you take orders now. If you want to take orders online too, we build online stores in your name, with our delivery built into checkout.

Who are the drivers?

Deliveroxx employees, paid hourly with benefits, driving a company van. They represent your store at the door, so we hire and train them that way.

What areas do you cover?

Greater Lansing: East Lansing, Okemos, Haslett and Lansing today, with Holt and Mason opening as soon as the routes fill. Check a ZIP code on the front page.

Can you deliver alcohol, tobacco, or other age-restricted items?

Where the law allows the store to deliver them, yes. The driver checks ID at the door for an added $4.00, and doesn't hand over the order if the ID doesn't check out.

What about appliances and furniture?

We quote those per job before you commit to your customer. If a job needs something we can't provide, we will say so.

We already have our own delivery truck.

Then use us for overflow only: busy weekends, sick days, the stops that don't fit the route. You pay per stop, only for the stops you hand us.

Try it on a week of real orders.

We run your deliveries for one week at the flat rate. Then we sit down together with the numbers: stops, on-time rate, what it cost, and what a marketplace would have charged for the same orders.
